A journalist friend posted on FB. One of his contacts commented mentioning Sharad Joshi as an agent of Monsanto. Sharad Joshi is a farmers leader who has explained and proved scientifically/economically why farmers in India are poor. He has done much more for farmers. That is not the topic.
Reading this guy's comment i responded to him. And we had a long and bitter exchange. There are many NGOs in India who get millions from foreign donors whose identity is never known to you and me. They oppose BT vehemently. And they cite no scientific records. Please understand BT is approved by our government. It is also approved by governments in many countries. Again BT is different topic.

You call him an agent of Monsanto. Can you provide any evidence to
prove charges? You will not find anybody else who has enlightened
farmers so much as he has done. He has written agri economics from
a new perspective. Time and again he has been proved right with his
economic forecasts. FB is a forum for dialogue not one for
mudslinging. Let us keep its sanctity. Of course those who are not
cultured/educated can have their way. You don't seem to be of that
type. Change your course please.
